In the unlikely event that the Ship is destroyed, its reactor explodes as if targeted by a blast from the Pasupata, causing a far greater explosion out to a radius of 100 miles. Upon firing its Pasupata, Pushpaka can use any of its other weapon systems, allowing it to raise the Shield of Surya against the expanding shockwave. Unlike the initial beam, the shockwave cannot be dodged, and it cannot be parried without the aid of God Level Intervention. After resolving the primary effects of the Pasupata, everything material and immaterial within 1000 of the annihilated radius suffer extreme levels of damage from the resulting shockwave erupting outward from the blast radius. The Pasupata affects material and immaterial objects alike spirits who are slain by its lance are obliterated, never to reform. Anything within 300 miles of the target is utterly destroyed, effectively suffering near-infinite levels of damage. Once the cannon is ready, it may be fired at any time as an attack. During this time, the ship can take no other actions except to hover in place, its opened beak glowing with the brightness of the sun itself. Doing so requires careful calibration from the ship’s Thought Core. Before it can fire, the cannon must be charged. Projecting a charge into a narrow beam of destructive force, the Pasupata is the most powerful reusable Psi-Lance weapon ever built by Humanity. Effects that do not actually inflict damage against the Ship (or by extension, any of its occupants) are not stopped, however, mental manipulation or spells to “persuade” those within to lower the shield, are greatly lessened.

No force can penetrate the barrier, not even the full might of the Greater Daemons. While active, the Shield provides a perfect soak against all damage directed at the Pushpaka. Surrounding the Ship in a protective shell of golden light, this energy shield projector can be reflexively activated as needed. They cannot be emulated or learned by other beings, but they may be activated on behalf of the Ship by its Thought Core, by an attuned captain or by any crewmember whose control station is given access to the system in question by the captain. The following powers are unique capabilities built into Pushpaka as part of the ship’s inherent workings. The Ship has the requisite five hearthstones installed aboard it already, fed by manses hidden and scattered at the disparate edges of Ind. Passengers aboard the Pushpaka have a total cover and may not be attacked.
